Become a Reviewer
How it works:
First, you’ll complete the form below to apply for status as a reviewer on the Respawn Reviews website.
Second, you will receive an email welcoming you to Respawn Reviews if you’ve been selected to represent Respawn Reviews as a Reviewer. This will be largely dependent on your example review submission.
Third, follow the instruction from your welcome email to request a game for review.
Fourth, you will spend a minimum of 2 hours playing the game, considering the gameplay, artwork, music, etc. Along with your written review, you can record up to 5 hours of gameplay and submit it for $75.
Fifth, you will write a personal opinion-based review of the game based upon your experience playing video games and the experience and observations that you’ve made while playing the game. You will write this review entirely on your own, without the use of AI.
Lastly, you will submit your final review to Respawn Reviews in Google Docs or PDF form via the form on the Submit Reviews page. Once your review is submitted, it will be reviewed by an editor and either approved or asked to be revised for clarity.
Compensation
Respawn Reviews will compensate you each Friday for submitted and approved game review submissions. Total compensation for reviews is $75 (gameplay), $75 (video footage), and $150 (written review). However, you can only receive compensation for gameplay and video footage with a written review.
Other Details
You will be able to keep all of the game copies that you review. Also, If you request a game and do not submit a review within 30 days you will no longer be allowed to request new games.
